Workshop on Coding Theory, Cryptography and Computer Security (CCCS98).

The Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences, the University of Lethbridge, the Royal Bank Financial Group, VeriSign Inc. and the Bank of Montreal are pleased to have sponsored a workshop on:

The workshop was held August 3 - 7, 1998 at the University of Lethbridge.

The workshop was primarily an instructional workshop, covering topics:

• Coding Theory
• Cryptography
• Computer Security
• Hadamard matrices and their applications to the above.

• Prof. P. Shiue, University of Nevada Las Vegas, USA.
• Prof. Mieko Yamada, Kanazawa University, Japan.

There were be contributed sessions on each topic for each day of the conference. Selected refereed articles will be considered for publication in a special issue of Discrete Applied Mathematics.
