**** NOTE TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING TO PURSUE A SUMMER RESEARCH INTERNSHIP WITH ME

I have no funding for research internships. If you have your own funding, I can consider your request further.

**** NOTE TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING TO PURSUE A POSTGRADUTE DEGREE WITH ME

If you are an international student, I will only consider you for graduate studies for the February 1st SGS deadline to start the following Fall semester (September). This is due to the time it is taking for visas to be issued. I need your material (see below) no later than Janaury 1st. If I receive it for any other semester, I will not consider it until the above mentioned deadline.
If you are Canadian/PR, then I need your material by no later than the 15th of the Month before the SGS deadline, in order to consider your application.

The School of Graduate Studies does not guarantee funding. Upon submission of a complete application, you will be considered for various scholarships and awards. These are merit-based, very competitive, and not guaranteed. Also note that funding is only assessed once - on admission - and no other time during a program.
Alternatively, you may also come with your own funding.

When you contact me initially for graduate school or internship inquiries, you should send the following in order to fully evaluate your case:
-a copy of all of your transcripts. They will be assessed by ROSS to determine if you have the required entrance GPA.
-a CV.
-your TOEFL or IELTS scores from the last two years (if you are an international graduate student applicant whose mother tongue is not English).
-if you plan to fund your own program and living expenses, some evidence that you have the funds. (you can blackout any sensitive information such as account numbers, address, etc. as long as I can see the balance.)

Thank you.
