Position
I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Lethbridge. In June 2012 I shall take up a Discovery Early Career Research Award, funded by the Australian Research Council, at the Australian National University.

Research Interests
Analytic number theory - in particular the Riemann zeta-function and its argument.
Background
I graduated from the Australian National University in 2005, and received a General Sir John Monash Scholarship to study overseas. In early 2010 I was awarded my DPhil from the University of Oxford, having studied under Prof. D. R. Heath-Brown. For the year 2009-2010 I was a Lecturer in Mathematics at Merton College, Oxford. I matriculated at Balliol College in 2006, and during my time in Oxford I had the pleasure of playing cricket for the University Blues and captaining the Balliol first XI, developing a sound technique for batting on low, English pitches.

2012 Alberta General Election
Below is a brief article I wrote that uses a short computer programme to simulate the election results had there been preferential voting. Possible Outcome of 2012 Alberta General Election with Preferential Voting

Prediction for The Ashes
October 2009: Four-nil. Having said that, below are eleven articles on why Australia can win The Ashes 5-0. Here is a link to the first of these on Cricinfo.

Cookbook
Here is a pdf version of my recipe book --- hopefully the first edition of several.
