The Olympic Oval
This is a picture of the Olympic Oval in Calgary, Alberta. It is located on the campus of the University of Calgary. Built for the 1988 Winter Olympics, it was the first covered speed skating track ever built in North America. The Olympic Oval is also home of the fastest ice in the world for long track speed skating. It holds 17 out of the 30 World Records.
