Lily was one of those animals
who you just can't leave behind.
I just don't recommend going to rescue fairs, adoption agencies,
the SPCA or any of those places that have animals that need a home.
Every time we go there we end up with another animal!
She ran to the glass door to see us, and clearly wanted to play
with someone. It struck me how brave this little cat was,
wanting to have another relationship with humans after being
abandoned by us.
So we ended up with Buttons (or maybe she was Bows) who promptly
got renamed Lily (aka Tiger Lily) by our two daughters.
